KISI-KISI UAS ENGLISH ONE

All materials for English One are actually aimed at reminding all grammatical aspects that students have acquired and giving students practices in the area/topic/text/context of Accounting Computerization.

Here students are introduced to a concept of English minimum requirements that constitute an underlying standard of English mastery. The requirements consist of three interrelated concepts, they are 

1)        A verb will change if we change the kind or number of the subjects

2)        A verb will change if we change the tense or the time event

3)        An idea can be expressed in two kinds of English expression

All practices are merely of getting students used to expressing Nominal and Verbal sentences in 4 sentence forms –i.e. affirmative (positive), negative, introgative and Wh questions. Having been familiar again with those concepts, students are provided with good pronunciation and public speaking. It’s challanging, isn’t it? Answer the following questions in good English expressions!

1.         Masakannya tadi ndak enak.                                             Kedengarannya aneh.

2.         Aku sedang sakit flu nih…                                                    George sedang sakit kepala.

3.         Dia pasti nyaman dengan gaun itu.                                 Dia seharusnya di sini melihatmu.

4.         Dia selalu kelihatan kurang tidur.                                     Ibu tadi kelihatan kurang tidur.

5.         Ayah belum merasa bahagia sebelum beli rumah.   Penonton belum puas atas penampilannya.

To be fluent in speaking English, you must get accustomed to practicing Yes/No and Wh question expressions. Here are the practices:

7.         Apakah semalaman mereka terjaga?             Apa tadi kau di sana melihatku?

8.         Apakah ini semua akan berakhir?                    Apakah semua ini seharusnya terjadi?

11.     Siapa yang mencintaimu? Siapa yang kau cintai? Apa saja yang selalu membuatnya marah? Apa yang dia selalu buat?
